This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Tea designed from a painting by George Dunlop, R.A. Leslie shows a woman holding her favorite teakettle getting ready to serve tea. Notice that her attire consists of a bonnet with ruffles and a large ruffled collar to match. The bonnet was worn not only as a statement of fashion back in those days, but also to keep a woman's hair out of food when she prepared it. She gazes back at us with every intention of being the perfect hostess. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect. Our charts are in black and white only.
