This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Creole in a Red Turban designed from a painting by Jacques Aman shows the portrait of a beautiful Creole woman dressed in a white blouson top and a red tignon (turban). Her eyes are large, round and intense as she looks at us from the canvas. Her skin is a lovely smooth shade of caramel, and her hair is like black satin. She is quite beautiful. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
