This architecture counted cross stitch pattern entitled Winter Cottage in Switzerland designed by Tracey Marvel Kramer shows a snow-covered cottage in the Swiss Alps with the warmth of the golden light shining from within welcoming guests out of the cold. The cottage serves as a bed and breakfast inn and takes in guests from far and wide. The snow is gleaming and sparkling like diamonds, and the light is reflected onto a nearby pine tree. The chimney bellows thick clouds of smoke into the sky of dark blue, and it climbs high and hovers over the peak of the cottage. Tis a welcoming sight for any weary traveler or anyone who simply wants to appreciate such a beautiful sight. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
