This waterscapes counted cross stitch pattern entitled Salmon Fishing on the Cascapedia River designed from a painting by Albert Bierstadt shows three fishermen in a canoe on a lazy river enjoying the sport of salmon fishing.  The men have chosen to fish closer to the shore and seem to have claimed that special spot for catching fish.  The sky is mostly overcast with a small area of clearing, and the birch trees lean far over the river as they provide a haven for shade.  This is a beautiful scene for that special fisherman in your life.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
