This land and waterscape counted cross stitch pattern entitled Spectacular Sights on Green River, designed by Tracey Marvel Kramer, shows a surreal, dangerously beautiful green land and waterscape from the viewpoint of the river's end. The trees seem to have an ultrahealthy glow and have come alive with an uncommon vibrancy and animation as they line the river's edge, swaying in the wind. The intense color of the leaves on the trees is reflected upon the water, turning it green. The sky is magnificently black on one side, which may be an indication of an impending severe storm with clouds swept up in large green swirls, with a downshoot of rain already falling from the sky in the distance. Here I've caught such intense beauty of nature right before the storm occurs, so it's time to take cover if your mind has taken you there. Otherwise, enjoy the moment before the storm. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
