This vintage counted cross stitch pattern entitled The Lady of the Snows designed from a painting by George Henry Boughton shows a lovely woman in the Victorian era dressed in winter attire with a winter cape and muff lined with fur. Her hat is ruby red very fitting for the Christmas holidays. She's dressed stylish and well for the winter season, and still manages to exude an air of elegance. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
