This fine art counted cross-stitch pattern entitled Spring in Crimea designed from a painting by Iosif Evstafevich Krachkovsky shows a beautiful spring scene of fruit trees in bloom with lovely pink blossoms.  The trees are massive and lean towards the stone wall in front of the ocean.  A small figure can be seen leaning against the wall, looking out at the ocean at the distant sailboats.  This is a gorgeous representation of spring, and the artist’s landscape paintings were well sought after.  No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
