This royal/nobility counted cross stitch pattern entitled Queen Charlotte designed by Tracey Marvel Kramer shows the second woman of color to enter the British royal monarchy.  The woman of color who holds the title as the first in British royal monarchy was Philippa of Hainault who had African ancestry and was born in 1314.  Queen Charlotte, born in 1744, was married to King George III.  In this portrait, we see Queen Charlotte wearing a high-necked laced collar dress with ermine around her shoulders.  She looks quite young here, and her braided hair has been swept up away from her face and is adorned with a satin ribbon.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
