This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Queen Esther designed from a painting by Edwin Longsden Long shows Queen Esther, a Jewish queen, being groomed and made ready by her attendants for her presentation to intercede on behalf of her people.  She was literally risking her life to save her people from genocide by approaching King Xerxes without invitation.  Here she is seen preparing for her presentation, showing quiet strength before going ahead with her plan.  The colors used have an ancient antique look that accents the scenery beautifully, especially knowing just how far back in history this occurred, since it is based on true events.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect. Our charts are in black and white only.
