This landscape counted cross stitch pattern entitled Summer’s Eve in the Forest shows an evening scene framed by tendrils of vines and tropical plants highlighted by the moonlight as the glow of a sleepy forest shines through. The humidity is high, and the leaves of the plants are glistening. A well-worn path covered with scattered rocks takes the eye to a place deep in the forest where we are wondering what lies next. The shadows play an important role in providing the drama that this scene invokes and gives the viewer a look into the lushness and shear beauty hidden in deep the rainforest.
