This landscape counted cross stitch pattern entitled Riverbank in Abendstimmung, Germany shows a line of golden-leafed trees spanning the entire width of the river creating a pleaching effect like a tall natural fence. The stunning colors of yellow, gold, bronze and chartreuse green add spectacular color which is mirrored in the stillness of the river. I would love to paddle a rowboat through the opening of the trees in the river and row my boat a little ways out to admire such beauty from a distance. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
