This landscape counted cross stitch pattern entitled Autumn in the Country shows trees and shrubs ablaze with the touch of Autumn colors. The pathway leading up to the cottage is peppered with a golden blanket of leaves. On the way to the cottage the eye is treated with a menagerie of bright reds, hot pinks, bold yellows and blues creating an effect that takes our breath away and makes us welcome and embrace such a beautiful season. The tall trees in the background are covered with coral and golden highlights as they blow in the wind trying to get our attention. The smattering of clouds hang in the air like jigsaw puzzle pieces strewn in an irregular pattern against the baby blue sky. The entire scene makes a person want to enter the cozy cottage and settle down to a large plate of griddle cakes stacked high with maple syrup. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns.
