This landscape counted cross stitch pattern entitled Mossy Trees in the Rainforest shows a collection of trees heavily covered with extensive moss that drapes down turning each tree into a large shaggy beast. To walk down the path through this rainforest would be an overwhelming experience for me as I can barely look at these trees in the daylight let alone imagine what these hulking figures look like with moss blowing in the wind when dusk falls. I know the mind can play tricks on a person, but as you walk by, one can almost imagine hearing a low growl or some sort of a slight roar while passing these trees. However, I do know there are those of you who find this scene very beautiful and I can appreciate that! Stitch and enjoy! Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
