This flower counted cross stitch pattern entitled Still Life with Bird's Nest, designed from a painting by Vincent Clare, shows a cheerful basket of what looks like pink primroses and blue flowers along with yellow primroses and white apple blossoms. A moss-covered nest loaded with warm brown eggs is pictured nearby. The entire theme reminds me of Easter and the season of Spring and renewal. What a lovely way to symbolize hope in a world that needs it. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
