This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled The Flower Seller designed from a painting by Jacques-Laurent Agasse shows a woman with a cart full of potted plants selling them in the open market. Her young daughter is with her watching the transaction with the gentleman. The gentleman is dapperly dressed with a red vest that dominates the scene, and the woman and her child are dressed demurely in soft colors like pastels. It's a sunny fine day and a great day to be out and about making a living. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
