This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Young Girl in a Veil, designed from a painting by Hugues Merle, shows a lovely young woman wearing a cream-colored veil trimmed with flowers. She is timid about exposure and is modestly covering up the front of her rose-colored gown. The blue background gives the young woman an aura similar to that of the Virgin Mary with the sky as her backdrop. Anyway, this is a beautiful pattern to stitch. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
