This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Transfiguration designed from a painting by Carl Heinrich Bloch shows Jesus in a vision of blinding light after he has risen from the dead and his body has been transformed into a perfect body not made of flesh and blood, and is a reminder of what our bodies will look like when we go to heaven and are transformed. Two figures appearing on either side of Jesus are Moses and Elijah. The apostles and other onlookers who witnessed the scene are stunned by what they see. The light was so bright that it shown like the sun and Jesus's clothes were the brightest of white. This event was meant to confirm the resurrection of Jesus who is the Messiah. Satan has been defeated and Jesus is rising to the heavens to be with the Father. What an unforgettable sight to behold! Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
