This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Night designed from a painting by Jean-Honore Fragonard shows a trio of cherubs asleep on a massive cloud that is illuminated by the large moon that appears in the background. The colors are muted, yet beautiful in their softness, and seem to promote the act of sleep just by looking at the scene. The dark colors on the left give way to the soft brightness on the right with soft golden undertones. Simply beautiful indeed! No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
