Level 5 - Big League

This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Merchant Ships on the Bosphorus designed from a painting by Germain Fabius Brest shows a large merchant ship in the forefront with billowing orange and white sails.  The ship is being manned by men engaged in buying and selling, but mostly transporting cargo from port to port.  Other ships similar in appearance along with men in rowboats are on the Bosphorus for the same purpose.  The waters appear to be choppy guided by the wind from a beautiful sky.  The sky itself is an interesting color like robin egg blue dotted with a few gray clouds.  All in all, the massive sails of the ship and the color of the sky are hallmarks of beauty in this scenario.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
