This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Fishermen on the Shore designed from a painting by Ivan Aivazovsky shows a scene taking place at night where fishermen are working to get their vessels unloaded of fish. Even though the sky at dusk has light areas, silhouettes can be seen of large rocks, ships, cargo and crew off from the shore. A smaller ship including two more can be seen off in the distance which makes for a dramatic effect. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
