This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Maharani Indira Devi of Baroda & Cooch Behar by Philip Alexius de Laszlo shows the portrait of Indira, the only daughter of Sayajirao Gaekwad III and his second wife. She grew up in the lap of luxury and led a pampered life of leisure. Indira bore her husband five children and spent time in Europe where she had a highly active social life. Here we see her dressed in ivory and gold with feet well-manicured. No blended colors are used in our patterns. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect. Only full cross stitches are used in our designs.
