This fall counted cross stitch pattern entitled Autumn Walk in English Garden designed from a painting by Anders Andersen shows families taking a walk in an English garden observing Autumn beauty. It is probably a Sunday as everyone has on their Sunday's best, and they are probably making a trip to the garden after church. As they walk down the widened path, they are enthralled by the colors of the leaves. A very large pine tree to the right is noticed as the only pine tree in the scene. The blueness of the sky as seen through the thick brush of trees is a beautiful backdrop to the browns, tans and gray colors that a complementary contrast. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
