This vintage counted cross stitch pattern entitled Santa’s Sleigh and All the Trimmings shows Santa’s sleigh chock-full and laden with gifts for every good girl and boy. The sleigh is parked in the center of the small village with stars hanging from the sky, and they twinkle and dance over the moonlit snow ever so high. The trees have been decorated in anticipation of this special eve, and all the lights in every house are on to guide Santa’s path before he has to leave. “Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night,” we can hear him say, and with a flourish of goodwill, he is on his way. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
