This fine art counted cross stitch pattern, entitled Sweetpeas, designed from a painting by George Dunlop, R.A., Leslie, shows a lovely young girl in a straw hat and scarf holding a bouquet of freshly picked sweetpea flowers in multiple colors (mauve, purple, pink, and white). The girl wears a red beaded necklace and a white peasant-style blouse. Her large, dark, expressive eyes make us wonder what she is thinking about, but it's something we may know. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
