This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled My Second Sermon, designed from a painting by John Everett Millais, shows the same little 5-year-old girl as in the previous painting falling asleep. She is trying to get through the next church sermon.  The poor little girl could not stay awake and succumbed to a peaceful slumber, unable to stay awake as before.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
