This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled View to Forum Romanum designed from a painting by Hermann David Salomon Corrodi shows a large collection of buildings on a grand scale where important public meetings were held, courts of law held session, and entertainment by way of gladiator tournaments and bouts were held. The location was also a place for markets to flourish and religious and social groups to come together in a complex relationship of contradictions and unity. Meaning, you might find a brothel located next to a holy temple and other contradictions. In this scene we see beautiful ancient ruins of what used to be a metropolis, and a testament to their importance long ago. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
