This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled The Dock Facing the Doge's Palace designed from a painting by Luca Carlevaris shows a view of the dock in the background adjacent to the Doge (the head of the Venetian Republic) which is a large influential organization that shaped the city of Venice in many ways both politically and religiously. Here you can see ships pulling into port and some are docked while people are milling about the town square. It's a sunny day with blue skies and puffy clouds. This is a large pattern that will look impressive on any place of distinction, and it will dominate that area. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we only use an abundance of solid colors to produce a more realistic effect.
