This fine art counted cross stitch pattern, entitled Juliette Gordon Low, designed from a painting by Edward Hughes, shows a portrait of the wealthy wife of William Low, a member of British high society.  In this scene, Juliette is wearing a pink silk gown with a feather fan in her lap while being presented at the court of St. James.  Her expression is dreamy and faraway, as if something has made her sad.  She was, at the time, suffering from hearing loss, so that might have had something to do with it.  Nevertheless, she carried on with life in a manner not limited by her hearing loss.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
