This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Girl With a Nest designed from a painting by Charles Joshua Chaplin shows a young woman holding a small bird's nest that probably had fallen to the ground out of a tree. In it are several small aqua-colored eggs, and she is holding one of the tiny eggs. The woman is wearing a loosely fitting light pink satin wrap trimmed in white, and her hair is styled on top of her head. The background of this scene is quite lovely done in many shades of green, aqua, blue and gray and it creates an interesting effect on the subject. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we only use an abundance of solid colors to produce a more realistic effect.
