This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Girl in Green designed from a painting by Sir Frederick Leighton shows a young woman whose expression is visibly sad, and she is wearing a silk green dress, a decorative scarf, and earrings. The background she is standing in front of is very ornate with a painted tile design. Little is known as to why she looks so sad; however, it is a nice portrait and worthy of stitching. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
