This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Flora Strewing Flowers designed from a painting by Arnold Bocklin shows a young woman who has picked a large basketful of flowers and is strewing them from her fingertips as she walks down a grassy path. She seems to be caught up in her own reverie without a care in the world. She has porcelain skin, hair in shades of brown, is wearing a long print striped gown with burgundy slippers, and has a black wrap positioned across her shoulders to protect her skin from the elements. The landscape is beautiful with healthy green vegetation and shrubs that complement a nearby babbling brook. The sky, although it looks threatening, shows a glimmer of fair skies underneath, but the rain clouds are likely to oblige the landscape with rain. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
