This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled A Pensive Moment designed from a painting by Eugene de Blaas shows a young woman sitting on a low wall against an inconspicuous background. She seems to be in deep thought about something in particular that she is trying to resolve in her mind, so much so that she has not even noticed that her shoe has slipped off her foot to the ground as she is totally lost in thought. A small breeze off the body of water behind her is whipping her hair ever so slightly. Beautiful detail in the bricked wall is evident. On the ground next to her is her basket full of bright-colored fruit and vegetables. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
