This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Reval in Estland designed from a painting by Ivan Aivazovsky shows ships trying to maneuver through rollicking waves of the ocean when engaging in maritime activities and being in that environment.  In this dramatic scene alone we are witness to the rolling of the waves, the restless sea and movement of the ocean, the beauty of the water in shades of blue, green and teal, and the glorious sky in warm tones that provide just the right contrast; not to mention, the ships struggling to steer through the pounding waves that threaten to capsize smaller vessels.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
