This fine art counted cross stitch pattern, entitled William II, King of the Netherlands, designed from a painting by Nicaise de Keyser, shows the king depicted as the King of Orange astride his white horse in his military uniform. The posture of the king is regal and triumphant as he holds a plumed hat, waving it in the air. The Battle of Waterloo is shown in the background. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
