This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Prince of Talmont, designed from a painting by Pierre Narcisse Guerin, shows a dashing portrait of the French nobleman Antoine-Philippe de La Trémoille, Prince of Talmont, who supported the royalists during the French Revolution. He also commanded a division in the Catholic and Royal Army and died when he was captured and executed by revolutionary forces in 1794. He was very handsome and looked good in his uniform! Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
