The Mark Twain House and Museum is located in Hartford, Connecticut. It was the home Mark Twain lived in as an adult with his family from 1874-1891. The home was built in the American High Gothic style. The house was sold in 1903 and had been used as a school, apartment, and public library. Recently the house is currently being used as a museum. Other famous people have visited the museum, and the museum celebrated a record-setting attendance in 2012.
