The Highland Light, which was previously called the Cape Cod Light is the oldest and tallest lighthouse on Cape Cod. It is still a very active lighthouse with a new tower that was constructed in 1857. This tower replaced two towers built much earlier. The lighthouse is owned by the National Park Service and cared for by the Highland Museum. Guided tours are available to the public and are available from May until October.
