This landscape counted cross stitch pattern entitled Summer Landscape on Banks of Alban Lake designed from a painting by Oswald Achenbach shows families picnicking and enjoying their leisure time near the lake. In this scene they have just come from the banks of the lake where they have had a possible swim, and now they are walking to their campsite. The sky is blue with just a hint of a possible rainfall in the future, but this will not stop these hearty nature lovers. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
