This landscape counted cross stitch pattern entitled The Elbe Sandstone Mountains, Germany shows the beautiful yet striking mountain range with noticeable horizontal lines that are found mostly in Germany with some located in the Czech Republic. In this scene, they are towering well above a bridge, and bluish gray mountains can be seen in the distance. The sandstone mountains were carved out by erosion, and the River Elbe meanders through the mountains in ribbon formation, creating spectacular scenery that attracts tourists from around the world. This particular view would make a lovely stitched pattern to display on your wall. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used.
