This landscape counted cross stitch pattern entitled Ancient Church shows the ruins of a church that stood long ago without a tree or tall shrub in sight to protect it from the wind. The structure is beautiful. Although the windows are gone, one can imagine those windows filled with stained glass. The clouds in the sky are swirling about in a rhythmic pattern, and the image of the ruins are reflected in the stillness of the lake. How beautiful it once was and how beautiful it still is! Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
