This landscape counted cross stitch pattern entitled Mysterious Fountain in the Park shows a gorgeous fountain a traveler came upon that seemed to be out of the way of the park, located more in the wooded area just outside of the park. It was the sound of the rushing water that drew the traveler nearer, and she was very surprised to see such a beautiful fountain come into plain sight. It is as if it had lured her there. A bouquet of flowers had been left on the first tier of the fountain, and she noticed the trees surrounding the fountain had taken on a spookier look. Have you ever come upon something so beautiful that it invoked mixed feelings of admiration yet fright at the same time? This is the feeling I get when I look at this wondrous sight, and it would be a good one to stitch! Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
