This Irish counted cross stitch pattern entitled Seaside Cottage in Ireland shows a small quaint little cottage built on a narrow strip of land near an inlet. As the sun rises, it highlights the chartreuse color on the cottage exterior and bathes it in a golden light. Notice the water is very calm in front of the cottage, and the stillness of the reflection can be seen in the water. However, the waters in back of the cottage tell a different story with the waters being much higher. In spite of its vulnerability, a day spent in this cottage would be worth it just seeing all of the surrounding beauty of Ireland. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
