This flower counted cross stitch pattern entitled Purple Passion in a Vase designed by Tracey Marvel Kramer shows a vase of beautiful purple and white peonies with yellow centers and monochromatic coloring. The vase itself is unique in that it is solid purple at the top, white at the bulge, then further down it has metallic gold coloring. The color gold goes well with the purple and would look very attractive in a formal setting. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect
