This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled The Enemy Brothers in Bornhofen Rhine designed from a painting by Karl Bodmer shows a scene set in the 16th century in Germany where two factions of groups (feudalism and the upper crust) struggle with against each other and struggle to coexist. All of this was happening during the Protestant Reformation and tempers flared.   A convent church is in the background.  The sky is a lovely golden color.  Trees sway in the breeze and the waters ripple with the force of the wind.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
