This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled The Town of Susa, Italy designed from a painting by Carlo Bossoli shows the beautiful Italian town of Susa located high up in the mountains between Turin and France. In this scene, the breadth of the town is small and quaint with a large steeple-covered chapel and smaller surrounding buildings are nestled closely. Low lying trees and brush with feathery foliage surround the town in a charming way as if standing guard In the background we can see the mountains soaring high with peaks that seem to almost touch the sky. A trio of townspeople have gathered just outside the town for a small social gathering. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
