This fine art counted cross stitch pattern, entitled The Awakening, designed from a painting by Thomas Cooper Gotch, shows three angels appearing in the bedroom of a young woman standing by her bed. The angels have incited an awakening of the young woman's spiritual awareness and maturity status as she transitions from a child to a self-aware young woman. The room is filled with golden light elicited by the angels. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
