This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Little Girl with Dachshund Puppy designed from a painting by Ludwig Knaus shows a little girl cradling her wee little pup in her arms to prevent him from squirming out of her embrace. He is held captive in her arms free from harm and alarm. She is sitting with him on her lap on a garden bench. Flowers surround the bench and both parties seem quite content. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
