This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled After the Ball designed from a painting by Charles Joshua Chaplin shows a young maid in service wearing an apron over her fancy frock while carrying a tray of glassware and a decanter of sherry back from the ballroom to the kitchen.  Costumes have come off and have been discarded onto the floor, and guests will be leaving the ball soon.  A wonderful time was had by all!  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we only use an abundance of solid colors to produce a more realistic effect.
