This religious counted cross stitch pattern entitled, The Holy Spirit, designed from a painting by Corrado Giaquinto shows the presence of the Holy Spirit represented as a dove descending from the heavens in a golden opening in the clouds. The artwork was painted in the Rococo fashion with flourishes. In this scene, cherubim are present in a ring of clouds surrounding the Holy Spirit. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
