This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled The Beeches designed from a painting by Asher Brown Durand shows a golden path lit by the sun and flanked on either side by majestic and statuesque Beech trees. The magnificence of the trees is realized by the dizzying heights the trees have climbed upward into the sky. One would have to bend his or her head back very far just to see the tips of the branches. In the distance, a shepherd is guiding his sheep along the woodland path to a clearing for grazing and resting. If you love large trees, this pattern would be a good one to stitch. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors to produce a more realistic effect.
